Collegefreedom.org is a website devoted to documenting the past and present state of academic freedom. It was started in July, 2002, by John K. John K. Wilson is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations at Illinois State University. He is the author of four books, including The Myth of Political Correctness: The Conservative Attack on Higher Education (Duke University Press, 1995) and the new book Patriotic Correctness: Academic Freedom and Its Enemies (Paradigm Publishers, 2007). He is editor of the newsletter for Illinois Academe (www.ilaaup.org) and co-founder of the Indy newspaper (http://indy.pabn.org). He can be reached at collegefreedom@yahoo.com.
